Influence of Vlisco Fabrics on African Fashion

The Dutch company Vlisco became one of the most influential textile brands in West and Central African fashion. Known for its bold and colorful patterns, Vlisco creates fabrics that marry tradition with luxury. Their fabrics have grown into an essential part of African culture although they have long been designed and manufactured in Europe and Southeast Asia. Vlisco has received widespread attention from the fashion industry and is also driving inspiration for the art and design worlds.
